Wellness, Workshops, & Reality!🤯

I gotta say it! The first quarter of 2026 felt like a full year. The reality of existence can be HEAVY and navigating the times while staying in alignment is work. It's work that requires space to feel, to hear, and definitely listen. There are moments in our collective journey as humans where everything you’ve been building and believing in…becomes real in a different way. Not just something you thought about. Not just something you share on social media. But something you feel fully, deeply, in the moment. My first workshop of the year, Sacred Crown, was one of those experiences for me.
More Than a Workshop?

Going into this, I knew that I wanted to tap into my passion for teaching. I had the information, the structure, and the intention, but having to reschedule the workshop due to the weather in January really had me feeling like "maybe I shouldn't do this". We all experience doubt and imposter syndrome but I had my mind made up. The workshop would happen whether there were two people or twenty people present. I didn’t fully anticipate that the energy of the attendees would be so powerful. The openness and curiosity, the willingness to learn and unlearn, to dissect and reconnect, to ask questions and share thoughts. It reminded me that what I do has never been just about hair. It’s about people. It’s about community. It's about showing up authentically daily for myself first and then those around me. Honestly, my passion for hair care and hair styling is the entry point to teaching and guiding people in focusing on their holistic wellness for their overall well-being.

However, I never truly know whether my teaching style is helpful especially with so many people having various learning styles. Especially being in this age of information where you can find out information on just about anything online. So many people have platforms for teaching and a lot of this information is wrapped up in short videos on social media. And while I use social media to share my knowledge and aspects of my existence, there is a plethora of false information being shared and found online which is why I truly love in person connections. Fact check me and give me feedback in real time face to face lol.
What Was Confirmed for Me
In this workshop, I watched people begin to make connections. Understanding that dryness, breakage, or thinning isn’t always just about what you’re putting on your hair…but what’s happening within your body. I saw moments where things started to click. That “oh wow… this makes sense now” feeling. And those are the moments that stay with me, because that’s where transformation begins. Not in perfection. Not in overnight results. But in awareness.

This experience confirmed something I’ve known for a long time, but felt even deeper in that space!
We cannot separate hair care from wellness.
The body, the mind, the environment, the habits, it’s all connected.
And when we begin to care for ourselves more holistically, our hair responds. Not just in how it looks, but in how it feels. Stronger. More balanced. More supported.
The Power of Being in Community

Learning in community provides a great opportunity to realize:
You’re not the only one experiencing certain challenges
You’re not alone in trying to figure it out
And you don’t have to navigate it all by yourself
That kind of space creates safety. And from safety, growth naturally follows.

I walked away from this experience with a deeper sense of purpose and alignment. A reminder that what I'm doing and what I believe in matters. That education matters. That creating spaces for people to reconnect with themselves in a new way matters.
Sometimes, all it takes is the right environment and the right information for someone to begin seeing themselves, and their hair differently.

Shoutout to your Journey!
If you’ve been trying to understand your journey...if you’ve felt frustrated with where you are…if you’ve been searching for something that actually makes sense. Know this: You’re not behind. You’re not doing anything wrong. Continue to believe. Continue to take the steps forward. You just may not have received the full picture yet. And once you do, everything starts to shift. Everything starts to align!

Wellness is not a trend it’s a truth that your whole body needs to be treated well from the inside out to operate at it's peak and most optimal space. Listen to your body. Understand your needs. Care for yourself with intention and as I continue this work, I’m even more committed to sharing, teaching, and creating spaces where that kind of transformation can happen. Because your hair deserves more than routine. It deserves understanding, care, and alignment from within.
If you’d like to be part of future workshops or continue learning more about holistic hair care, stay connected there’s so much more to come! In the meantime please check out the video below where I share more about the importance of your holistic wellness to your hair care.

Congratulations on a successful workshop, and thank you for the message! Hoping to make the next one!
